SUMIDO offers calligraphy workshops for schools, community organisations and corporate groups. We can work with you to create a program to meet your needs. We offer anything from 30mins - 90 mins introductory experience courses to whole day workshops anywhere in Australia. Here are some examples of activities we can offer:

Learning about the history of Japanese calligraphy/Sumi-e painting and famous artists
Learning about Japanese characters and their history
Meditation and making sumi ink
Basic to advanced calligraphy/painting brush techniques
Making your own special piece from scratch.
